About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. As a Clinical Data Management Intern in our Animal Health division, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to a variety of clinical data management projects. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will support various aspects of clinical studies, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols. This internship is designed to provide valuable exposure to the field of veterinary clinical research.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program, in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) or similar major.
  • Candidates must have completed at least two (2) full years of an undergraduate degree prior to the start of this position.
  • Must be able to work full-time for up to twelve (12) weeks beginning in May or June 2026.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong document management and organizational skills.
  • Must have initiative, leadership, and ownership of deliverables.
  • Must be a self-starter, fast learner, detail oriented and able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to manage and independently drive projects to completion.
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have strong database management skills with familiarity of various electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an electronic data capture (EDC) status dashboard to monitor enrollment, query resolution, and data completeness.
  • Organize and document data management systems, processes, and SOPs to ensure consistent and auditable workflow.
  • Review quality-assurance reports and datasets to identify trends, data discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Follow Good Clinical Practices (GCP), display unquestionable ethics, maintain patient and owner privacy, and protect confidentiality of company intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with Medical researchers, Veterinarians, Project Managers, Laboratory Scientists, Clinical Research Managers, Clinical Research Associates, Statisticians, Data Entry Administrators, Medical Writers, Pharmacovigilance, Auditors, Regulatory Affairs Managers and IT experts.
