The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. Global Market Access (GMAx) is focused on saving and improving lives globally by enabling broad, timely and sustainable patient access reflective of the value of our innovation. This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to delve into the pharmaceutical industry and gain experience in the dynamic field of market access. You'll work with dedicated professionals on real-world projects with global impact. Additionally, you'll benefit from mentorship and networking opportunities allowing you to develop practical skills and foster your professional growth. The goal of this internship is to develop or improve the chosen candidate's skills in business-oriented analytics, project management and strategic thinking which will help the individual better prepare for a future career in the pharmaceutical or health care industry. The internship lasts up to 12 weeks and will include one or more meaningful projects within our Sustainable Access Solutions (SAS), Access Contracting Enablement (ACE) Team. You’ll develop knowledge of healthcare systems & regulations in addition to building skills in research & data analysis, strategy development & execution, and project management. The Sustainable Access Solution (SAS) Team develops innovative solutions to unlock barriers to access for patients to our company's innovations. SAS is made up of 3 capability groups: Customer Collaborations, Alternative Financing & Coverage, and Access Contracting Enablement. This internship will focus specifically on work with our Access Contracting Enablement (ACE) Team. The focus of the ACE Team is on enabling, expanding, and maintaining patient access to our Company's products today and into the future, at a price reflective of value, using contracting as an enabling solution. These can be contracts with "innovative" commercial terms and/or value-based frameworks. Over the course of this internship, the chosen candidate will work collaboratively with market access leaders, data specialists, and other cross-functional colleagues within our organization, as well as independently, to assess trends, develop strategies and identify opportunities for impactful engagement at Global, Regional and Local levels through innovative/value-based contracting as a solution. The project scope for this internship will include: Gaining familiarity with existing data sources Gathering insights from existing data sources and cross-functional colleagues Generating novel insights Analyzing and impactfully summarizing insights Present key insights to Access leaders and stakeholders Development and presentation of case studies that tell a clear, compelling story around value-based contracting and support local market opportunity assessments Collaborating with internal global stakeholders to help accelerate the emergence of innovative contracting solutions that improve access Creation of a poster to present at the end of the internship summarizing the experience and learnings. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in public health, business, economics, finance, STEM, or other healthcare related degree
  • Available to work full-time for up to 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June of 2026
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel-based analytics capabilities
  • Solid presentation skills
