About The Position

At Regions, the Wealth Management Development Program is focused on developing an associate talent pool that has been exposed to and has foundational knowledge of the businesses within Wealth Management. The Wealth Management Development Program Associate will participate in a variety of activities within Asset Management, Institutional Services, or Private Wealth Management designed to refine a core set of technical skills that will be critical for long-term success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

  • Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 Graduate

Responsibilities

  • Participates in a wide range of projects focused on relationship management, portfolio management, research and/or client experience within Asset Management, Institutional Services or Private Wealth Management
  • Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and foundational knowledge needed to launch a successful career
  • Applies financial acumen and analytical skills to support a variety of projects as required by clients or business leaders
  • Responsibilities will vary by business group and may include one or more tasks listed below
  • Supports Wealth Management associates in relationship management responsibilities, including interaction with current and prospective clients
  • Identifies client needs and learns how to recommend Regions products and services — or other unique, actionable ideas — that can help clients achieve their goals
  • Monitors news, current events, transactions and financial information for clients and prospective clients
  • Conducts product, industry, sector and/or client research
  • Develops and gathers detailed financial information from clients to provide to partners to help facilitate the underwriting process on prospective loans
  • Prepares written material, including pitches, proposals, client materials and associated supporting analyses
  • Ensures high quality of client deliverables by having strong written communication skills and attention to detail
