Requirements

  • Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026
  • Be majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or a closely related STEM field
  • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • Good presentation and writing/communication skills
  • Basic networking TCP/IP
  • Experience with Microsoft Server, Windows domain architectures, Windows Active Directory, LDAP, VMWare, and knowledge of SAN storage systems
  • Red Hat Linux Operating System experience and/or certification for current versions
  • Knowledge of Windows management
  • Knowledge of Windows LDAP, VMWare, and SAN storage systems
  • Knowledge of Python and Powershell scripting
  • Red Hat, Linux+ or similar certification
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Knowledge of environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk, SNARE, etc.)
  • Experience with creation and deployment of system images in an enterprise environment
  • DoD 8570 Certification including a primary OS (Windows, Linux, Cisco)

Responsibilities

  • Perform as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies
  • Perform STIG checks & analysis
  • Ensure that systems comply with cyber requirements, which may include routine system checks for Antivirus, logging, and network system services
  • Establish, develop, derive, and track cyber requirements
  • Recommend and implement approved system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management
  • Solve complex problems across disciplines in an Agile, DevSecOps environment
  • Opportunity to travel and support system installations, test support, vulnerability analysis, and maintenance for customer sites
