About The Position

This individual will assist the credit operations team by supporting daily operational processes of GA Credit, monitoring cash activity and portfolio operations, maintaining documentation for the credit operations team, and assisting with deal-related agreements and workflows.

Requirements

  • Eligible to participate in Northeastern University’s undergraduate Co-op program
  • Strong record of academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall and in major (on a 4.0 scale), strongly preferred
  • Academic concentration in Finance
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong understanding of AI tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of achievement in academic, leadership, and other settings
  • Creative and able to solve problems
  • Proactive, positive, and professional work ethic
  • Sharp attention to detail and the ability to deliver work product of high quality and accuracy
  • Are fundamentally an intellectually curious, resourceful, and team-driven person

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing deal agreements and key terms for portfolio company investments by organizing documentation, tracking contractual obligations, and coordinating with investment and legal teams
  • Support the operational lifecycle of investments from initial investment through realization
  • Monitor daily cash balances, positions, and trading activity
  • Oversee trade settlement and maintain operational documentation for the credit operations team
  • Assist with ongoing KYC/AML requests
  • Assist with Treasury related functions with an emphasis on cash management future cash projections
  • Collaborate closely with the credit accounting team and work alongside GA Credit’s Investment team
  • Gain exposure to investor relations processes and attend Investment Committee meetings
  • Support Operations group with ongoing projects to support new business launches
  • Work closely with Master Shadow Administrator and Fund Administrator to ensure daily/weekly/monthly deliverables are being met
