The Operations department at Haleon’s Oak Hill manufacturing facility is responsible for producing world-leading toothpaste brands such as Sensodyne®, Pronamel®, Paradontax®, Polident®, and Aquafresh®. Our team ensures that manufacturing and packaging processes are efficient, safe, and continuously improving. As an Operations Co-Op, you will gain hands-on experience in a regulated consumer product environment, contribute to real-world problem solving, and collaborate with experts across departments to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering
  • Must have an active student status for the duration of the Co-Op.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of, their employment. Employees will be required to furnish evidence of US work authorization.
  • Must be eligible to work onsite on a full-time basis during the internship duration (40 hours/week) and provide their own funding for relocation and commuting.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manufacturing and packaging of toothpaste products by applying engineering principles to improve daily operations.
  • Lead small-scale projects from planning through execution, including equipment upgrades, process trials, or layout changes.
  • Analyze field data and observations to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operators, engineers, and site leaders, to solve real-world challenges.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to contribute ideas and communicate progress on assigned tasks.
