About The Position

Throughout the 9-week paid Schwab Trading Services internship, there will be inspiring opportunities to dive into brokerage, markets and Schwab's trading experience. The interactive program focuses on a variety of opportunities which feature a business track project, an intern cohort project, learning activities, volunteering in the community, a dedicated intern leader, networking, and exploring your unique personal strengths! In this role, you will learn advance financial literacy and receive training materials to prepare you for (and potentially take) the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. Our Trading Services interns will also learn about our trading products, platforms, education, and client service. The rest of the time, you'll be assisting our Product and Platform teams with research, analysis, presentation materials, and other projects. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
  • Junior level status at a 4-year college or university
  • Not completed bachelor's degree
  • Able and willing to relocate at own expense if needed
  • Ability to work full time on-site during the 9-week program (June 8, 2026 to August 7, 2026)
  • Able to start full time employment during business hours between August 2026 - September 2027
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics or related major
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong MSOffice skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Analytical skills
  • Passion for learning about the Financial Services industry and the stock market
