About The Position

We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for: Conducting supplier audits to quality standards and in support of supplier selection and improvement. Driving effective root cause analyses and corrective action for Lycoming and its customers. Spearheads process improvement activities at supplier facilities. Facilitating preventative actions and process control supplier projects that improve quality. Analyzing and making decisions utilizing metrics meaningful to supplier quality improvement. Providing a clear vision of supplier development strategy and processes for internal and supplier teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Six Sigma knowledge/certification preferred.
• Previous internship experience in manufacturing or quality engineering environment preferred.
• You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S.
