Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Have the availability to work in-office 3 days a week (Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm). This position can sit in one of the following offices: Atlanta, John’s Creek, Philadelphia, Iselin, or New York City

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade services (APIs, batch pipelines, internal tools)
  • Familiarity with NLP/PII detection concepts (NER, regex/pattern matching, confidence thresholds)
  • Experience with test automation and CI (unit/integration tests, quality gates)
  • Comfort with enterprise tooling and automation patterns (SharePoint/Power Platform helpful)
  • Strong documentation habits (clear READMEs, runbooks, “handoff-ready” notes)

Responsibilities

  • Primary Project: Production De-Identification Pipeline You’ll build against internal de-identification requirements and acceptance criteria to deliver a tool that applies de-identification techniques (removal, masking, pseudonymization, generalization) to data.
  • Review internal de-identification requirements, success criteria, and expected evidence outputs
  • Evaluate and compare implementation options (e.g., open-source and cloud-based PII detection approaches)
  • Propose pipeline architecture (components, interfaces, deployment approach, logging/audit needs)
  • Build and test the core pipeline: PII detection + method selection by entity type
  • Implement consistent pseudonymization (same entity → same token)
  • Add output validation and quality checks (accuracy checks, redaction verification, reviewer workflow)
  • Add synthetic data generation capability to support testing and demos
  • Implement a privacy validation approach to confirm protections are effective
  • Produce documentation and a handoff package (runbooks, configuration guide, test evidence)
  • Secondary Projects: Automate approval routing (category-based routing, quarterly attestation reminders, overdue escalation)
  • Build an adversarial prompt test library for RAG and web-search connected tools (reusable test cases + reporting)
