About The Position

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks high school teachers for our 9th-12th grade classrooms in the 2026-2027 school year. We are building a candidate pool for Lead High School teachers anticipated for the 2026–2027 school year across our network. While this is not a guarantee of placement, selected candidates in the pool may be invited to interview when openings arise. Teachers will be responsible for at least one subject area and are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. Full teacher responsibilities are ultimately outlined by their school leader. KIPP Bold City's vision is to be a high school built on student voice and choice. Bold City offers a variety of options for its students- including honors classes, Advanced Placement classes for all, and career/technical education. Classes are chosen based on student and family interest. As the school grows, we seek to add more career tracks as well as Dual Enrollment. We also offer a variety of extracurriculars and sports to students. We seek teachers that are aligned to our philosophies around student voice and choice and are flexible to meet the interest areas of students.
