About The Position

As a Senior Software Engineer for John Deere in Milan, IL, you will develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems. You will evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve the cost, quality, and performance of software applications. Your role will involve analyzing assignments and determining software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives. You will collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs, following industry-standard Agile software design methodology for development and documentation. Additionally, you will execute necessary documentation, mentor junior software engineers within the team and across multiple products, and lead engineering practices alongside the engineering manager. You will propose and build standard and custom solutions for Labor Management, Slotting, Physical Inventory, Cartonization using SAP EWM, build the integration with SAP/non-SAP systems using Azure API /MuleSoft/SAP PI, develop personas flavors for multiple business requirements, enable personas scripting to achieve complex business requirements, create KPI dashboards for different warehousing measures using Embedded analytics, and develop multiple work soft scripts for different EWM scenarios to automate the functional testing. Up to 30% domestic and international travel is required.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience using screen personas design and scripting, configuring and testing Personas flavors on RF devices.
  • 4 years of experience using SAP Fiori and Embedded Analytics.
  • 7 years of experience in SAP EWM including Yard Management, Slotting, Physical Inventory, Packaging Specifications, Value Added Services, Cartonization, Resource Management, inbound process setup, outbound process setup, master data CVI, CIF and ALE setup, Warehouse order rules setup, quality management, and exception handling.
  • 4 years of experience with multiple integration technologies and tools including Mulesoft or SAP PI and API management.
  • 2 years of experience with SAP security role design and build.
  • 7 years of experience architecting, designing and Developing EWM solutions in SPM architecture.
