About The Position
As an Automation Perception Engineer for John Deere in Dubuque, IA, you will develop technology solutions in the area of Automation to Autonomy (A2A). You will utilize the Technology Development Process (TDP) to design, develop, and deliver solutions in automation/controls. Your role will involve developing and applying existing technology into new A2A solutions, leading technology development in A2A with a focus on perception system development. You will also develop and execute test or analysis plans for proof of concept and product verification and validation, and collaborate and communicate with stakeholders on system design concepts, status, and decision making. Up to 40% remote work is allowed, but you must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Additionally, up to 25% domestic and international travel is required.
