As an Operations Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will be responsible for adding designed and implemented new features/code to improve the performance and capabilities of the software application. You will participate in discussions and decisions regarding future software engineering direction and evaluation, prioritization, and elimination of technical debt. Your role will also involve supporting, evaluating, and continuously improving technology and business processes to maintain alignment with business plans. You will provide expertise to address complex and crucial technical problems concerning the software application's functioning and develop and maintain strategic relationships within and other departments while interacting with business contacts. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation and may be required to travel up to 20% domestically. This position allows for up to 100% remote work and can be based anywhere in the U.S.
