About The Position
Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is seeking to hire 8 Youth Corps Assistant Team Leaders. Assistant Team Leader is a temporary, seasonal position with the Boulder County Youth Corps summer program. Assistant Team Leaders assist in supervising a team of up to 10 adolescents aged 14-17 at a variety of work sites for eight weeks and mentor the development of personal accomplishment, teamwork, and community service with their team members. This is an hourly, non-benefited position. The Youth Corps season will be June 2nd through August 2025. This position will work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm during training, and typically Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am - 11am during the season. This position will work out of Boulder or Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, this position is non-exempt (eligible for overtime). Boulder County requires its employees to reside in the state of Colorado as of the first day of work.
