The Hunter Douglas Global Management Trainee Program is a prestigious 10-month Leadership Development initiative designed to cultivate future leaders within the organization. Sponsored by the Executive Leadership Team, this program offers a comprehensive introduction to the company, its culture, and the window covering industry. Trainees will engage in a variety of experiences that include a two-week induction at the Global Headquarters, where they will learn about the company's global strategy, culture, products, and sales channels. Following this, participants will undergo a four to five-month field training, rotating through key areas of the value chain such as Sales, Supply, Logistics, Product Innovation, and Customer Growth. This hands-on experience will allow trainees to actively participate in daily operations and project work, gaining valuable insights and skills. In addition to field training, trainees will receive one to two weeks of leadership and methodology training to prepare them for their first project. They will also work on a four-month individual project, delivering tangible results while applying their skills and knowledge. The program culminates in a graduation week, where trainees will receive feedback and development opportunities, leading to a final placement in a full-time role within the company. This role can be in various areas including Sales, Operations, Product Innovation, Customer Growth, Finance, and People. The program is hybrid and open to candidates across the United States, requiring full mobility to visit major locations in North America. Trainees will be paired with mentors to help them acclimate to the organization and will have opportunities to connect with the Executive Leadership Team and other leaders throughout the program.
