Global Clinical Data Standards is a part of the Global Data Management and Standards division within Global Clinical Trial Operations. Our mission is to reliably and consistently define and maintain a high-quality, transparent, reusable, and compliant set of clinical data standards that facilitate our company to effectively and efficiently achieve clinical development milestones that enable our ability to provide medicines for our patients. We are looking for interns to help us drive adoption of emerging processes, tools, and technologies in information management through collaboration with our internal stakeholders. Potential opportunities include applying strong data curation and analysis skills to uncover business insights related to service management, establishing FAIR principles to data standard definitions and promoting the reuse of those definitions, identifying areas for process improvement, implementing a solution, and measuring the effectiveness of the implementation plan. Additionally, you will support mapping activities from data collection at an investigator site to Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) reporting to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). You will also learn and understand Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) controlled terminology, evaluate new terms, and submit those terms for approval.
