About The Position

Our US Medical Affairs-Oncology Team is currently recruiting for a 2025 Summer Intern for our HNM/BrGYN Field Medical Teams. This opportunity is for a remote summer internship as the HNM/BrGYN Oncology Field Medical Teams are field based. We are seeking top talent to help us Invent For Life and looking to provide an opportunity for an intern to experience oncology and Medical Affairs within a global biopharmaceutical company. US Medical Affairs is an integral part of V& I Global Medical and Scientific Affairs belonging to our Company Research Laboratories division, where we develop cost effective medicines and consumer healthcare products for patients around the world every day through innovation, technical and scientific excellence. The V& I Global Medical and Scientific Affairs group ensures that scientific leaders and health care providers have the information they need, and that scientific insights gathered are translated into actions, to maximize patient outcomes. Our US Medical Affairs team advances patient care by engaging in scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry professionals ensuring the scientific value of our products is realized. We engage and train internal employees to ensure that they thoroughly comprehend the science behind the medicine and review further unmet medical needs to bolster collaboration and further differentiate our portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven and ambitious candidate to work within the US Medical Affairs Oncology Field Medical Team within the HNM and BrGYN Tumor Teams. The Oncology program includes both licensed and pipeline compounds, providing an opportunity to gain a broad understanding of scientific strategy development for oncology programs. During the internship period, the candidate will play a key role in the following activities: scientific literature search & review, development & review of medical education materials, participation in scientific leader engagements, congress planning and execution; and participation in cross functional team meetings and collaborations relevant to oncology. Under the guidance of the Medical Affairs team, the candidate will also develop and complete a specific project over the course of the internship. Self-study materials will be provided for understanding of the therapeutic area during orientation. This position would best suit someone with a background and interest in biomedical sciences, immunology, oncology, pharmacology, biostatistics, clinical research and/or medical affairs.
