About The Position

The Future Talent Program offers internships lasting up to 12 weeks within the Support Functions division, providing law students with valuable development opportunities. The Corporate Transactions Legal Team is seeking a 1L law student for a summer internship, where they will work closely with experienced attorneys on various legal projects related to business development, licensing, and complex commercial transactions. This role is designed to help interns assess their fit with the company while contributing to significant legal work.

Requirements

• Candidates must be a Law student (full-time or part-time) pursuing a J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Candidates will have completed their first year of law school by Summer 2025 and will return to law school in September 2025 for their second year.
• Candidates must have an Undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with attorneys on agreements related to the acquisition of assets.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating clinical trial, investigator/consultant, research collaboration, data/material transfer, nondisclosure, procurement, license, and other agreements.
• Support projects for direct and indirect procurement functions and global real estate services.
• Conduct legal research and assist with governmental filings with competition law authorities.
• Summarize and organize critical agreements and agreement provisions.
• Perform due diligence activities for transactions led by various company divisions.
