There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
The Cell Process Development team operates as the bridge between early discovery and manufacturing by developing large-scale processes for our cell therapy projects. We work closely with our Drug Discovery Units, early CMC, and manufacturing colleagues to produce manufacturing-ready cell therapy processes. The intern will work closely with the Cell Therapy Process Development Team (PD) team to support process development in Chimeric Antigen Receptor Gamma delta T (CAR γδ-T) Cell Therapy platform and will learn how to optimize a process to be ready for manufacturing. Gain a comprehensive understanding of immunology and the CAR γδ-T cell platform. Learn cell therapy manufacturing technologies and optimize a new protocol for cell processing on a novel device. Develop lab skills such as aseptic technique, primary cell culture, cell counting, isolation, transduction, expansion, harvesting, and cryopreservation. Develop analytical skills such as flow cytometry, ddPCR, cell-based assays to independently analyze samples. Learn to use data analysis software such as Prism, JMP and FlowJo to make graphs, statistical analysis, and presentations for data dissemination. Prepare and deliver a final presentation to summarize experiences and project outcomes.
