About The Position
Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals to join the 2025 Technology Internship Program, which is designed to provide undergraduate students with a comprehensive introduction to the technology sector within the banking industry. This ten-week program offers participants a unique blend of business and technical insights, equipping them with the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Interns will engage in hands-on experiences that include relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and opportunities to refine their communication skills while interacting with key leaders in the organization. Throughout the internship, participants will be placed in one of several roles, including Software Engineer or Data Engineer. As a Software Engineer, interns will be responsible for application design, development, testing, and integration, which may involve enhancing existing applications or developing new ones to phase out older systems. They will work closely with enterprise architecture and product management teams, typically within an Agile framework. The technology stack for this role includes Java, .Net Core, various UI frameworks, and cloud technologies. Alternatively, as a Data Engineer, interns will focus on creating and supporting data frameworks, warehouses, and analytics environments. This role involves developing data models, maintaining data warehouses, and writing scripts for data integration and analysis. Interns will also be tasked with building optimized data pipelines to facilitate deeper analysis and reporting, all while adhering to data information policies and compliance requirements. The program emphasizes professional development, featuring informative learning sessions, coaching, and networking opportunities to help interns grow both personally and professionally.
