About The Position
The Teacher for Summer School at Chaparral Elementary School is responsible for facilitating student learning using the Edgenuity platform. This includes progress monitoring, student conferencing, re-teaching as needed, monitoring online activity and course progress, and motivating students. The position requires adherence to school and district policies, supervision of students, and maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom environment that focuses on student growth and content mastery. The teacher will also maintain open communication with students, families, and school staff, and keep accurate and current records.
