About The Position

The Key Investment Services Internship is a 10.5-week program designed for students pursuing a career as a Financial Advisor. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the retail investment industry, working closely with Private Client Advisors and participating in various projects that align with Key's business objectives. The program includes networking opportunities, learning labs, and mentorship to foster professional development and prepare interns for potential full-time roles post-graduation.

Requirements

• Must be graduating with a four-year degree or graduate level degree by May 2026, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or data science.
• Participation in the CFP program and completion of the CFP exam prior to graduation is preferred.
• Outstanding academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork experience from past work or extracurricular activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Key Investment Services Private Client Advisor (PCA) during the internship.
• Engage in client discovery and case studies.
• Assist in financial planning through data entry and analysis.
• Observe client meetings to gain insights into the advisory process.
• Perform basic administrative tasks to support the PCA.
• Develop client relationship skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Collaborate with retail partnerships.

Benefits

• Hourly compensation of $21 per hour.
• $1,000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.
