About The Position

The internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta provides students with the opportunity to support the Business Technology and Security (BTS) division through analytical, accounting, financial, and project support. Interns will assist the Financial Planning Team with budget and forecast tasks, project support, ad hoc reporting, and data analysis to monitor financial results. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program, offering a chance to gain practical experience in a prestigious financial organization.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in an academically rigorous curriculum.
• Commitment to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Knowledge of accounting software modules.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical, accounting, financial, and project support for the BTS division.
• Assist the Financial Planning Team with budget and forecast tasks.
• Support various projects such as CAP and Centralization Hardware Management (CHM).
• Conduct ad hoc reporting from standard data sources for financial reviews.
• Analyze data to monitor and track financial results.
