About The Position

Axtria is an emerging force in the data analytics industry, working exclusively with companies in the Life Science industry to solve complex problems. The summer internship offers real project work, skill advancement, and insights into the Life Science industry. Interns will collaborate with other Axtrians and gain valuable lessons while having fun. Responsibilities include researching cancer rates, creating predictive analytics tools, building data analysis tools in Excel, organizing sales target data, creating interactive dashboards, and assisting in pricing tools for medical devices.

Requirements

• Must not need a visa to work in the United States.
• Rising Senior (graduating between December 2025 and June 2026).
• Strong academic credentials with preference for Data or Business Analytics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or MBA students.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Time management skills to handle a rigorous academic schedule.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Python, SQL, or R.

Responsibilities

• Researched, compiled, and sanitized historical cancer rates by gender, age, stage of diagnosis, and subtype to create a predictive analytics tool.
• Used Python to create a dashboard for better data visualization.
• Built a multi-faceted data analysis tool in Excel for user input modification.
• Organized comprehensive sales target data to analyze forecasting goals.
• Created interactive dashboards for time series models to forecast drug quantities.
• Helped segment and target sales territories for vaccine products using various metrics.
• Built a pricing tool for medical device SKUs for RFP responses and created a corresponding User Interface in VBA & R.
