About The Position
The 2025 Summer Intern: Procurement Intern at PepsiCo offers a unique opportunity for MBA students to engage in a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on global procurement strategies. This internship is designed to last approximately 10 weeks during the summer months, providing interns with the chance to independently tackle critical business problems. Each intern will be assigned a specific category within the Global Procurement function, which is divided into two primary business units: Beverages and Foods. Interns will be challenged to think strategically and provide comprehensive recommendations based on their analysis and insights during their final presentations. This structure mirrors the project-based work of full-time employees, allowing interns to gain valuable experience and exposure to senior leadership within the organization. Interns will develop comprehensive procurement strategies aimed at improving quality, productivity, sustainability, and innovation. They will gain expertise in procurement fundamentals, including cost management and responsible sourcing, while also gathering and analyzing data to provide meaningful insights. The role involves working with cross-functional global teams on unique projects, allowing interns to build relationships and network with fellow interns across PepsiCo. Previous intern projects have included analyzing sourcing strategies, developing sustainability schemes, and increasing representation of diverse suppliers in the supply chain. This internship not only provides practical experience but also fosters professional growth and development in a supportive environment.
