About The Position

The 2025 Summer Intern - Medical Information at Ferring Pharmaceuticals offers an opportunity for pharmacy students to gain hands-on experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Interns will work closely with Medical Information pharmacists to respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals and develop standard response letters. This role also includes collaboration with various departments to explore career opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector.

Requirements

• In their 3rd year of pharmacy school or higher (finished with their 2nd year of Pharmacy school)
• Experience in developing PowerPoint presentations
• Experience with Microsoft Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player skills/ability to work with others
• Ability to complete the entire 10-week program (from May 27, 2025 to August 1, 2025) and commit to 37.5 hours per week
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; college transcript required
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university for undergraduate, graduate or PharmD program
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Ferring cannot sponsor work visas for summer interns
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
• Pass a drug screen and background check prior to start date
• Virtual interviews with HR and hiring manager
• Final presentation to manager & department team members at the end of the 10-week program (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Updating Medical Information standard response letters, FAQ responses, and/or dossiers
• Developing responses to escalated questions from the MI Call Center
• Creating standard response letters and frequently asked question documents
• Assisting with the monthly adverse event/product complaint reconciliation report
• Working with the MI team on Legal, Medical & Regulatory (LMR) reviews of promotional materials and field materials

Benefits

• Hourly rate for undergraduate interns is $20 per hour
• Hourly rate for graduate students is $25 per hour
• Eligibility for company-paid holidays during the internship
• Accrual of sick time after 120 consecutive days of work in 2025
