About The Position

The 2025 Summer Intern - Medical Information at Ferring Pharmaceuticals offers an opportunity for pharmacy students to gain hands-on experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Interns will work closely with Medical Information pharmacists to respond to inquiries from healthcare professionals and develop standard response letters. This role also includes exposure to various departments within the company, enhancing understanding of career opportunities in the pharmaceutical field.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university for undergraduate, graduate or PharmD program
• In their 3rd year of pharmacy school or higher (finished with their 2nd year of Pharmacy school)
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; college transcript required
• Experience in developing PowerPoint presentations
• Experience with Microsoft Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player skills/ability to work with others
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
• Pass a drug screen and background check prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Updating Medical Information standard response letters, FAQ responses, and/or dossiers
• Developing responses to escalated questions from the MI Call Center
• Creating standard response letters and frequently asked question documents
• Assisting with the monthly adverse event/product complaint reconciliation report
• Working with the MI team on Legal, Medical & Regulatory (LMR) reviews of promotional materials and field materials

Benefits

• Hourly rate for undergraduate interns is $20 per hour
• Hourly rate for graduate students is $25 per hour
• Eligible for company-paid holidays during the internship
• Accrue sick time during the internship
