About The Position

The 2025 Summer Intern - Manufacturing Support, Science & Technology (Validation) at Ferring is an opportunity for students pursuing an engineering degree to gain hands-on experience in validation activities. The intern will support technical services staff in executing commissioning, qualification, and validation studies for various facilities, equipment, and processes, contributing to Ferring's mission of delivering life-changing therapies.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing an engineering degree.
• This is an onsite position that must be able to work at the Parsippany, NJ office 5 days per week.
• Ability to complete the entire 10-week program (from May 27, 2025 to August 1, 2025) and commit to 37.5 hours per week.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; college transcript required.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university for undergraduate, graduate or PharmD program.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Ferring cannot sponsor work visas for summer interns.
• At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
• Pass a drug screen and background check prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the pre- and post-verification of temperature/relative humidity valprobe data loggers used in temperature mapping equipment.
• Support the execution of temperature mapping studies for refrigerators, incubators, freezers, stability chambers, and warehouse.
• Support the execution of packaging engineering studies.
• Draft engineering study reports and qualification summary reports.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of commissioning/qualification study documentation.

Benefits

• Hourly rate for undergraduate interns is $20 per hour.
• Hourly rate for graduate students is $25 per hour.
