As a Summer Intern in the Electrical Systems Controls Software Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge control features for military vehicles. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and make a significant impact in a strategic growth area. You will be working in a hybrid environment, expected to report to the Milford, MI office at least three times a week. In this internship, you will engage in various tasks that include developing system requirements for new control features, creating software for basic functions using MATLAB, Simulink, and C, and performing integration and verification testing under the guidance of lead engineers. You will also support the calibration of controls to optimize performance and collaborate with program and vehicle performance teams to assist in vehicle demo builds. Problem-solving electrical and integration issues on prototype assets will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with providing periodic status updates to the program team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to projects that drive the future of military mobility.
