About The Position

The 2025 Summer Intern: Business Intelligence Analytics position at Spectrum is a full-time, 10-week internship designed for graduate students seeking hands-on experience in business analytics, data science, or computer science. Interns will work closely with the BI, Programming, and Corporate Analytics teams to analyze product usage data and support the creation of insightful reports and dashboards. This role offers professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship, providing a robust learning experience in the telecommunications industry.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing an Advanced Degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Basic knowledge of Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau) for data visualization and reporting
• Experience with or interest in analyzing product usage data and user behavior patterns
• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques or machine learning methods is a bonus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and prepare product usage data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
• Assist in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to track key product metrics and usage patterns
• Perform data analyses to identify trends, customer behavior, and opportunities for product optimization
• Work closely with the BI, Product, Programming teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for product engagement
• Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable format
