The Spectrum Internship Program is a full-time, 10-week commitment designed for motivated rising seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. This program offers essential business insights and hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, providing opportunities for professional development, networking, and mentorship. Interns will work closely with their respective departments and peer groups, engaging in team-focused projects and various professional development activities.

  • Practicing problem-solving abilities.
  • Networking skills including data analysis, document organization, packet capturing, and network performance analysis.
  • Methods of automated measurement and testing.
  • Data analysis via machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2025 - May 2026.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for Charter Sponsorship.
  • Proficient in software including Adobe, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Programming skills including Python, C/C++, JAVA, API experience, JSON.
  • Experience with HTML and SWAGGER.
  • Networking skills including Network+, CCNA, DOCSIS, SNMP, TCP/IP, HTTPS.
