About The Position
As an AVANGRID intern, you will find your purpose, gain real-world experience, and develop lasting mentor relationships. This internship program is designed to immerse you in the company's strategic direction while addressing current industry challenges. The internship is a key pipeline for full-time opportunities and development programs at AVANGRID, making it an excellent stepping stone for your career. The Technology division at AVANGRID encompasses various business groups under the Chief Technology Officer, which are essential to the organization's strategy and operational success. These groups include Cyber Security, Digital Solutions & Development, and Project Management. Throughout the program, you will engage in significant projects focused on information security, IT applications, and Operational Excellence. We expect our interns to contribute fresh perspectives to our global technology practice, supporting its increasingly vital role as we evolve in the clean energy industry. The internship spans a dynamic 10-week period where you will apply your college learning to implement innovative solutions for real-world challenges. You will undertake cross-functional activities to broaden your understanding of AVANGRID and its subsidiaries, collaborate on project-based assignments, and gain challenging professional work experience. This program also offers ample opportunities for interaction, networking, and exposure to various levels of leadership and management. Additionally, top summer interns may be eligible for full-time offers to join our Global Graduate Program or AGILE Program upon successful completion of their degree.
