About The Position

Be prepared for an internship that provides you with meaningful projects, opportunities to learn new skills, and the ability to explore future career fields. This onsite, paid internship will be a commitment of 20 hours per week for the full semester.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school student who is 16 years old
• If you are graduating in the coming May, you are still eligible to apply
• Familiar with navigating website applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Skills such as problem solving, organization, and communication (verbal and written) are helpful

Responsibilities

• Ensure aircraft are safe and working well by performing regular checks and repairs
• Monitor and coordinate various parts of the company to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently
• Develop content for our different communication channels
• Ensure customers have a positive experience with our products and services
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to assist in decision making
• Use science and math to solve problems and create new solutions
• Assist the accounting team with data entry and financial analysis
• Support pilots and dispatchers with their tasks and coordination
• Support business hiring, employee relations, and compensation
• Develop databases and fix software problems
• Read blueprints, work with sheet metal, machinery, and other various tools
• Run marketing campaigns, create graphic designs, and practice project management
• Communicate effectively with customers to sell Textron Aviation products
