About The Position
The 2025 Summer Internship in Investor Operations & Services at Ares Management offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on experience in a leading global alternative asset management firm. Ares Management, with approximately $447 billion in assets under management and over 3,000 employees, is committed to delivering attractive performance across various investment strategies, including credit, private equity, and real estate. The internship is designed to enrich participants' knowledge of the industry while providing them with the skills necessary to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Interns will be integrated into the Investor Operations team, which is expanding to support the firm's strategic objectives related to fundraising and enhancing client experience. During the 10-week program, interns will provide organizational and project management support across the Investor Operations team. They will work closely with Relationship Management and Product Management teams to streamline and centralize processes across various groups, including Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, Compliance, and Investment Groups. Interns will perform fund and investment level analyses to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations, and they will have the opportunity to build a strong network across the firm, facilitating collaboration with various business operations groups such as Technology, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Compliance. Additionally, interns will draft and update internal and external presentations and respond to ad hoc requests in support of Global Client Solutions Leadership. This role requires a self-motivated and astute individual who can thrive in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
