About The Position
Ares Management Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Summer Analyst to join its Corporate Strategy Group. This group plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's highest priority growth initiatives by working directly with the Executive Chairman, CEO, President, and business group heads. The Summer Analyst will be involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing pivotal initiatives that enhance Ares' capabilities and expand its product offerings. The role requires performing detailed financial and market analysis, preparing complex financial models, screening new investment opportunities, and assisting in investment closings and integrations. The Corporate Strategy Group has been involved in various strategic projects, including management company acquisitions, portfolio purchases, minority investments, global expansion, and new business development initiatives. The Summer Analyst will also support strategic projects across the firm, providing direct assistance as needed by senior management. This internship is designed to provide valuable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, where the intern will develop analytical and problem-solving skills while contributing to the firm's strategic objectives.
