The Summer Analyst position at Ares Management Corporation is a pivotal role within the Marketing team, specifically supporting the North America Relationship Management division. This internship is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree, ideally in fields such as Economics, Political Science, Finance, General Business, or Management, with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026. The role is structured as a 10-week paid internship, offering a total base salary of $90,000 prorated over the duration of the internship. The Summer Analyst will report directly to the Head of North America Relationship Management and the Chief Operating Officer of Strategy & Relationship Management. In this role, the Summer Analyst will engage in a variety of essential functions that contribute to the overall success of the Marketing team. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the Salesforce data for the Regional Relationship Management team, which involves updating records, generating activity reports, and tracking fundraising summaries. The Analyst will also play a key role in organizing and preparing materials for fundraising roadshows, meetings, and calls with portfolio managers and senior leadership. This includes the preparation of briefing memos, agendas, and customized client materials. Additionally, the Summer Analyst will be tasked with tracking and analyzing investor mandates and allocation preferences, conducting both quantitative and qualitative market research to produce assessments that identify key prospects ahead of fund launches and fundraising initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills to ensure that all upcoming deliverables are met by their respective deadlines. The Analyst will also lead performance reporting initiatives, delivering weekly activity and fund pipeline reports, and preparing materials for regional meetings as needed. This position is ideal for individuals who are flexible, possess strong communication and writing skills, and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The Summer Analyst will also be expected to handle ad hoc projects and support team members as necessary.
