The Operations Rotational Analyst Program at Mizuho is a two-year commitment designed to provide Analysts with a comprehensive understanding of the Operations Division, which supports various functions across Capital Markets and Banking business lines. Throughout the program, Analysts will have the opportunity to rotate through up to four six-month rotations, allowing them to gain diverse experiences and insights into different operational roles. This structure is intended to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to understand the critical role Operations plays in the overall success of the organization. During the rotations, Analysts may work in several key areas, including Client Management, where they will engage in client onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) verifications; Collateral Operations, focusing on margin call processing and counterparty risk; and Derivatives Operations, which includes middle office support and regulatory reporting. Other potential rotations may involve Securities Settlements, Banking Operations, and Futures Operations, each providing unique challenges and learning opportunities. The program emphasizes a multi-level management approach to career development, aiming to identify and cultivate the future leaders of Mizuho. Analysts will receive guidance and mentorship throughout their journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future careers in finance and operations.
