Requirements

  • Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
  • Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions.
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework covering object-oriented programming with proficiency in Linux or Unix.
  • Knowledge/course work of radar, signal & image processing, digital communications, control theories, estimation theory and/or electro optics.
  • Knowledge of physics, random variables, and its application to solving engineering problems.
  • Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA.
  • Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a multi-disciplined team to support systems integration.
  • Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment.
  • Work in a lab environment integrating software, firmware and hardware in support of complex systems.
