About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• High school education or equivalent (GED) required at the time of hire.
• Competence with common PC-based software (Microsoft Office, internet browser, etc.).
• Ability to meet the Physical Task Analysis requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Trade/Vocational School graduate.
• Experience using basic hand tools in a construction or industrial manufacturing environment.
• Background in construction, automotive, spray painting, grinding, pipe fitting, electrical work, etc.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete 8,000 hours of training in a designated manufacturing trade.
• Participate in rigorous college coursework related to the apprenticeship.
• Demonstrate competence with common PC-based software for course assignments.
• Meet the requirements of the Physical Task Analysis, including climbing, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Utilize hand tools and pneumatic tools as part of the apprenticeship training.
