About The Position

Federated Hermes Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain "hands on" experience and develop professional skills as well as the ability to network with talented professionals and gain insight into career possibilities within the asset management industry. The program includes a variety of events to enhance your internship experience, provide information about the firm and foster collaboration. As a Legal Intern, you will receive a broad and in-depth understanding of the Corporate Legal Department through assisting internal counsel in completing projects that support corporate initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing or willing to pursue a law degree required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word and Excel required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
• Solid oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of investment industry and mutual fund terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform research in response to requests from the legal department and various business units
• Review and draft legal documents
• Complete ad hoc projects and assist internal counsel
