About The Position

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is seeking candidates for an Apprenticeship program that offers a unique opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere within the Investment Management Division. This program will allow participants to take on responsibilities similar to those of a Full-time Analyst for a duration of twelve months, commencing in July 2025. MSIM, with approximately $1.5 trillion in assets under management and a global presence of 1,419 investment professionals across 55 offices in 24 countries, aims to deliver tailored investment solutions to a diverse client base, including governments, institutions, corporations, and individuals worldwide. The Sales teams play a crucial role in raising capital for investment teams by understanding client needs and maintaining strong relationships throughout the client lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently in study and able to commit for this apprenticeship role for twelve months
• Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent academic background and fluency in English as well as in the language of the country you are applying for
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across MSIM and the broader organization
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Driven, highly motivated and results-focused
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Detail oriented with the ability to work efficiently within tight time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of pitch books, client due diligence or market research to support senior sales people in their client interactions
• Sourcing and providing relevant material to service prospective and existing clients who may require performance reviews and fund analysis
• Liaise between clients and internal business units to ensure operational, legal and reporting needs are met
• Responsible for the maintenance of client records, sales pipeline, marketing distribution lists, client mapping and sales reports.
