About The Position
Citizens Bank is seeking Investment Banking Analysts to join the Capital Markets & Advisory (CM&A) team starting in June 2025. This role is designed for current students who are either in an undergraduate program graduating between Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 or in a graduate program with the same graduation timeline. The analysts will work closely with both junior and senior professionals in the team, engaging in the preparation, analysis, and execution of investment banking transactions, primarily focused on the U.S. middle market. The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team specifically concentrates on the origination, structuring, and execution of bank and bond transactions for corporate and sponsor companies, with a strong emphasis on middle market leveraged credits and support for leveraged buyouts (LBOs). As a full-time analyst, you will be part of a generalist pool during your first year, which allows for a broad exposure to various sectors. In your third year, if not promoted to Associate, you will receive greater sector alignment based on your performance and interests. The role offers a fast-paced environment where analysts can grow professionally and develop their skills in financial analysis, modeling, and transaction documentation. You will also support team members in developing new business ideas and strategies, preparing pitch materials, and delivering presentations to clients.
