It consists of twelve Reserve Banks located around the country and the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta territory covers the Sixth Federal Reserve District, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Atlanta Fed and the other Reserve Banks play an important part in all three of the Fed's functions: monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and the operation of a nationwide payment system. Requirements

  • Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor’s degree program through the duration of the internship.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA above 2.75 in academically rigorous curriculum.
  • Must be committed to working 15-20 hours a week for 10-12 weeks. With the possibility of extending to Spring semester
  • Minimum of 15hrs a week onsite
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Great work ethic and detail oriented
  • Comfortable working across time zones to complete projects in a timely manner

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, research, and manage data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
  • Research prospective businesses
  • Assist with administrative processes and documentation updates
  • Provide assistance with branch event coordination and support
