We are currently looking for a Formulation & Materials Science Intern at our Plainsboro, NJ office. The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025. Our standard working hours are Monday - Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week). Responsibilities

• Conduct lab experiments in the F&MS labs on flavor/fragrance/nutrient delivery technologies.
• Organize collected data in clean way that is suitable for data analysis.
• Record and maintain a laboratory notebook and follow all laboratory safety protocols.
• Prepare a short research report that could serve as a start to an internal research report.
• Prepare and present your work during team meetings and a final presentation to the entire F&MS team.

Requirements

• Currently working on completion of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Food Science/Chemistry/Data Science or related field.
• Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 - August 14, 2025.
• Your enthusiasm for laboratory experiments combined with data analysis.
• Your eagerness to work in fast-paced environment surrounded by some of the biggest talents and brands in the Flavor, Fragrance and Ingredients industry.
• Your excellent teamworking and communication skills.
• Your ability to deliver results under agreed upon deadlines.

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $23.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent on factors including location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
