About The Position

As a Marketing Intern at IBM, you will play a crucial role in uncovering and transforming insights into creative experiences that resonate with our customers. This internship is designed to provide you with the opportunity to engage with various aspects of marketing while working in a collaborative environment. You will be part of the Marketing, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility (MCC) team, which is responsible for positioning IBM in the market and optimizing our brand's presence. Your work will involve creating compelling stories that cut through the noise and have a significant impact on our audience. The internship will take place during the summer of 2025, and you will have the chance to work on projects that address strategic marketing challenges faced by IBM. You will collaborate with a diverse group of talented individuals, gaining insights and mentorship throughout the program. The internship includes educational, networking, and social activities, allowing you to connect with other interns and marketing professionals. At the end of the program, you will showcase your final outcomes to a large audience of Marketing Leaders and Practitioners, providing you with valuable exposure and experience. Intern projects may span various areas of marketing, including Field Marketing, Account Marketing, Demand Generation, Social Media, and Brand & Content Strategy. Previous interns have worked on projects such as developing cohesive brand messaging strategies for global campaigns, increasing engagement across social media channels, optimizing digital journeys for IBM offerings, and building AI solutions to support marketing initiatives. This internship is primarily based in Austin, TX, New York, NY, or Raleigh, NC, and does not offer Visa sponsorship.
