About The Position

This role is for 2025 interns who worked in a role this summer. New net roles will open in September. The position involves various aspects of Cyber Risk Management, including knowledge of cyber risk assessment and management techniques, security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, as well as the evolving security landscape. Interns will assist in identifying risk-prone areas in the business and implementing cyber risk management practices. Additionally, the role requires managing functional partnerships, understanding stakeholder needs, and engaging with business partners. Interns will also be involved in network operations, requirement and scoping analysis, penetration testing, network design, and infrastructure design, ensuring compliance with security standards and frameworks. The position emphasizes respect for individuals, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and members, while striving for excellence in all tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2 years' experience in application security, or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
  • 4 years' experience in application security, or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, or GSEC.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in cyber risk management practices and identify risk-prone areas.
  • Engage with stakeholders and manage functional relationships.
  • Monitor network performance and maintain documentation.
  • Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct security testing and assess security controls.
  • Assist in network and infrastructure design.
  • Support the implementation of business solutions and build relationships with stakeholders.
