The 2025 Guardian Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience designed for rising seniors who are eager to immerse themselves in the dynamic environment of a global financial services company. Interns will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, engaging in projects that directly impact the business. This program offers the opportunity to interact with senior leaders in conversational settings and network with employees and fellow interns across various offices. The internship will run from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the positions are filled or until the application window closes on November 17, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. Interns will be assigned to teams mid-spring, allowing for alignment with real-time, business-critical needs. The program is open to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Interns will work in locations such as Bethlehem, PA, Holmdel, NJ, New York, NY, and Stamford, CT, although housing is not provided. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment and possesses a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity. Throughout the internship, participants will monitor and analyze events from various Security Operations Center (SOC) intake sources, conduct initial event discovery, triage, and response, and provide tier one operational and analysis support. Interns will also have the chance to learn about emerging cyber threats, industry best practices, and applicable regulatory requirements while working alongside supportive leaders and mentors.
