The 2025 Guardian Summer Internship in Digital & Technology - Artificial Intelligence is a paid 10-week program designed to immerse interns in the daily operations of a leading global financial services company. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through hands-on experience, daily business interactions, and job assignments. Interns will engage in projects that have a direct impact on the business, allowing them to interact with senior leaders in conversational settings and network with employees and fellow interns across various offices. The program is structured to assign teams mid-spring, ensuring that participants are placed in roles that address real-time, business-critical needs. The internship will run from June 2, 2025, to August 8, 2025, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, encouraging candidates to apply early. The ideal candidate is a rising senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Interns will be based in locations such as Bethlehem, PA, Holmdel, NJ, or New York, NY, with housing not provided. Interns will participate in the design, development, and implementation of Generative AI applications and digital assistant solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Additionally, interns will conduct research to stay updated on advancements in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and large language model (LLM) technology.
