The Ground Radars & Platforms Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program. This position is an onsite role in Andover, MA. About 20% travel is expected to support test events with the ability to support testing on multiple shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline
  • Experience in systems, software, and/or integration & test
  • Experience with tools, such as MATLAB or Python, for data analysis and automation
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Nice To Haves

  • Cumulative 3.00 GPA
  • Experience with hands-on troubleshooting, root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification
  • Experience using DOORS or other requirements management tools
  • Experience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Operate our systems, as well as related simulators/stimulators
  • Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis
  • Integrate hardware or software into a tactical system, and evaluate the functionality and impact of these changes
  • Develop integration documentation, execute plans and procedures, process and analyze data, and communicate results
  • Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Travel to support mission execution at applicable facility, test site, vendor, and/or customer location
