The SPY-6 Family of Radars and the GhostEye family of radars are seeking a talented Systems Engineer I to help in the execution of integration and analysis activities. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for helping to identify issues, generate solutions, and verify the solutions are implemented as designed. This role will require communication skills to convey solutions and results to teammates and leadership. This position is in Tewksbury or Marlborough, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts of operations for radar systems
  • Responsible for radar processing algorithm development
  • Responsible for radar software requirements development
  • Responsible for statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data
  • Responsible for analysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolution
  • Responsible for collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutions
  • Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience with tools, such as MATLAB/Python or C++
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Nice-to-haves

  • Cumulative 3.00 GPA
  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
  • Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures
  • Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments
  • Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
  • Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS
  • Experience with technical writing and oral presentations
